The performance «Mektüp» (Letter) by «Qaradeniz Production,» presented on May 18 at the «Fidan» banquet hall, was a profound dedication to the tragedy of the deportation of the Crimean Tatars. Through letter-stories, it revealed the essence of Crimean Tatar identity – the desire to preserve oneself and the eternal dream of returning to one’s native land. Through music, dance, and dramatic reading of letters, the artists told a story that makes us who we are.
